Restaurant Vitello in Munich

Very expensive but tasty

We had received a Jochen Swiss candle light dinner from friends and had decided on the Vitello. At the beginning there was a champagne and bread with a BBQ dip. The first course was a corncream soup. For the main course you had three dishes to choose from, from which you could choose one. My fish was delicious, but not the Schlutzkrapfen from my friend. The dessert (lemon tart) was also good and nicely decorated. We had also ordered extra a bottle of water, which cost seven euros. We find it a bit extreme for water. In general, the evening was nice.

Delicious but slow service

Was here for the candlelight dinner. Atmosphere as in the waiting room, a new decent interior designer is recommended, the staff was very courteous and endeavored, the food was too basic for the price. Drinks completely overpriced € 5.50 for 0.5 l Augustiner beer is even for Munich too much. No place for a romantic evening.

My husband gave me a candle light dinner here. A great experience was. The restaurant is just great. Very quiet, well maintained, noble. The staff courteous, but not intrusive. And the food was a dream. Everything was delicious. There was nothing to complain about. We will come here again

Came from out of town and really enjoyed the food. Had a cheeseburger with fries. Great and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Delicious food. Had a burger today, which tasted very good. Obviously, high quality ingredients were used. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I will certainly come back.

I was eating at this restaurant during the BMW Open. The quality of the food is excellent and tasted really great. I send a big compliment to the kitchen and thank you for the friendly service. I would like to come again.

We have been to eat here often. The food is of a very good quality. The service is attentive and friendly. The menu always surprises with seasonal dishes. Can only recommend the restaurant.

The food is always varied, delicious, always perfectly prepared and flavored - that's why I like to come here! The service is extremely attentive and very friendly, therefore there is hardly anything to complain about ... At most the atmosphere in the restaurant itself (bar is very consistent!) Could be a bit more comfortable - but that is whining on a high level;)

Full 5 points from me ... I've been there a few times with my partner and also with friends there at the food, and it was always a treat! I always like to come here. The service is always very attentive, fast and very interested in the guests. The kitchen does an excellent job, meat and fish are always in a nutshell and everything is always very tastefully and artfully prepared ... I always come here again, and can recommend it to anyone just heart to convince yourself. The terrace is likely to get new furniture, that you can sit in summer even more comfortable outside ... Otherwise, please keep it up :-)

Already eaten here several times. Was always very satisfied. Today absolutely bad. Portions shrunk drastically. Service was absolutely overwhelmed (we were at 18: 30h the only guests!) ? Conclusion: deleted from the program!

The food is delicious and the service friendly. The card changes and offers something for every taste. I have been here several times in the evening and always found it sensationally good. Can I recommend it!

The popcorn corn soup was delicious and I can not recommend the chicken as it had a lot of fat. The lemon cake was ok but unfortunately much too sweet and bought tasted. The staff has been very friendly

Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Food is great and changes seasonally. The service is very nice and accommodating. I will come back!

Eat steak or lamb

Terrible burgers. The burger seemed to be made overnight and simply warmed up the next day. I asked if I could have mine without onions and the waiter said it’s impossible to make chances. When I got my burger the bread was warm but burger it self was cold. In the ingredients it said “with bacon“, and when I opened it to remove the onions there was literally only one small piece of bacon.

Great setting. Prices are as in a regular restaurant. Great wine list. The food is delicious! But the burger over the past year has deteriorated from very good to complete rubbish. Do not order this at lunch !!!! In any case, until the cook is kicked out. Each time meat is drier and drier. The potato is always cold, and for the last time it seems to have been warmed up several times, since they brought to death the deep-fried potatoes. Like a stone. We don’t go there anymore.

Red wine in white wine glasses, small portions and expensive prices .. a good restaurant outside the hotel would have done it 10x better, for half the prices. Service was always tried, but not really suitable for the restaurant.

The restaurant is designed and located in our hotel. The opening portions were medium, the bread served dry and crumbling, surprising to such a restaurant. We were also surprised by the attitude of the staff when we turned to our waiter, claiming that one of the entrecote steak we ordered arrived dry and made despite the requested medium, the waiter would not accept our claim. Do not recommend

Italian food is good, but nothing special. At lunchtime very crowded and loud.
